MADSHAD is a non-profit design initiative. It was initially created in 2018 by Shadi Kassem. He wanted to create something different with a purpose. After being diagnosed with depression; as a means of therapy, he started experimenting with paint and fabric. He always had a thing for arts which helped with his mood and anxiety. Starting from his kitchen table, Shadi tried to vent by creating art pieces on the fabric. With his fondness for Arabic letters and calligraphy, He taught himself digital Arabic calligraphy and then transformed it into garments. MADSHAD was created; a non-profit brand that helps people in need. 100% of the revenue goes to helping families in Lebanon, and for the past four years, he has luckily managed to help. MADSHAD spread around the world and reached 52+ countries. The concept made a difference and now with the new direction to collaborated with unique people, the sky is the limit…
